In this era of sex robots, teledildonics, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality, it can be a challenging—even bewildering—task for therapists to keep up with the impact of new technology on clients’ sexual behavior. At the same time, an increase in nonmonogamous arrangements can further challenge therapists’ beliefs about sex and relationships.
